030813 Almost back on board

030313 Our Accommodation Pier One Sydney

Hard to believe another four weeks have passed since we left Katherine to head back to Australia. A whirl wind trip that saw us touch down in Darwin, Adelaide, Melbourne and finally Sydney before making the long journey back. Not sad to say we hope not to be getting on a plane again for some months. We managed in that time to check on the business including some long ongoing building projects, catch up with family including cousins not seen in some 25 years, a few friends and to help Scott move down to Adelaide to commence university.

030813 3 Katherine - looking a lot cleaner on the underside

We arrived back into St Lucia on Wednesday afternoon and enjoyed being back onboard for all of one night before we headed for a haul out the next morning. The barnacle growth on the underside of Katherine was somewhat astonishing. Amazing also what can be achieved in three days in a yard and we are pleased to say she is ready to go back in tomorrow morning.

The water maker remains the last task at hand to be fixed prior to our heading north. All going well we head for Martinique on Tuesday. Nine weeks to do around 350 miles - think we can handle that.
