November 2020 - A Two bike trip QLD
After our “Big trip” across the gulf country of Northern Australia and to the tip of Cape York we managed to squeeze in a small trip around Northern Queensland. This trip had the luxury of hotel accommodation and two bikes. No camping equipment required.
Our ten day tour around Townsville Queensland on the Scrambler and 1260 around 2000km take or give a bit with detours.
The original plan had been to commence riding south to Adelaide but continued sudden border closures dictated that we reconsider and ship the bikes to Adelaide if we wanted any opportunity to continue to travel by bike whilst we couldn’t sail. So in January 2021 the bikes were loaded and shipped to Adelaide to await our arrival.
